2024-2025 Season Auditions are HERE! 

Auditions will be accepted through video submission for the 2024/2025 Team. 

How to audition:


*Please note that sending in a video audition does not guarantee your spot on the team. You must meet all requirements to be considered as a new team member. Talent isn't the only thing we look for. We want students that are hard working, dedicated and kind to others. 

Potential new team members must submit a video audition to bamareptheatre@gmail.com by August 1st.


Term begins August 22nd. 

Show Camp - August 12th through August 16th, 5pm-8pm


All Students are required to participate in the following events: 

Alabama Youth Theatre Experience in Rainsville (Feb 6-8th) - $50 per person 

National Youth Theatre Festival in Kentucky (March 7-9th) - $260 Per Student, $160 Per Parent, Hotel cost is between $550-600. 

AYTE SoloFest in May 2025 (Dates and location TBD) - $10 per event


Classes for 2024/2025 are Thursdays from 6:30pm-8:30pm and will run from August through May. 

Tuition is $60 monthly for 2024/2025. 


Tuition and additional fees will now be lumped together in one monthly payment. We will also be utilizing a recurring payment process this year to avoid missed payments. Students will not be allowed to participate in any festival or competition until all fees are paid in full. 


Registration Fee - $35 total per team member

($10 - Head-shot Photo Fee, $10 - Supplies fee, $15 - Troupe Shirt fee)​

In addition to weekly classes to prepare for Festivals and Competitions, students are also expected to participate in various community events scheduled throughout the season. These events will range from Christmas parades, Fall Festivals, solo vocal experiences, fundraising events and more.


Students are required to participate in some form in every regularly scheduled show for the Bama Rep 2024-2025 Season. Students can either participate as performers, backstage tech, set building, prop making, or front-of-house work during the performances. If a student fails to work on a show, they will not be allowed to participate in the upcoming festivals and competitions. 


Before signing up, please thoroughly read the Bama Rep Student and Parent Contract. You must send in your signed contract before the first day of class to be admitted to the team.


BAMA REP STUDENT AND PARENT CONTRACT


Students are highly encouraged to participate in the AYTE SoloFest in Mobile, Oct 5. $10 per event. Parent/family admission is $10.


Students will also have the option to attend the National Performing Arts Festival in Universal Studios Orlando (February 19th-23rd). 

Commitment to this event and first payment is due August 1st. Estimated cost per student is $1200.
